Duration: 10 days/9 nights

It is evident omo valley host fascinating and distinctive tribes that can be said as true wilderness of the centuries.  So, buying this holiday; without exajoration is a journey in ancient times. The Bume, the Karo, the Erbore, the Hmmer, the Surma and the Mursi are good examples of the tribe found here. The surma people are more or less similar with Mursi people in terms of their culture and appearance. As it is the case in Mursi, at the point of puberty most women have their bottom teeth removed in order to get their lower lip pierced. Once the lip is pierced, it’s then stretched and a lip plate is then placed in the hole of the piercing. Having a lip plate is a sign of beauty and the bigger the plate, the more cattle the woman is worth. This is important when the women are ready to get married. Like ‘bull jumping’ in Hammer, culture “Donga’ (stick fighting) is a big deal for the surma People. It is especially important when seeking a bride; are competitive at the risk of serious injury and occasional death. So, this holiday present great opportunity to this extraordinary place; a chance no to be missed photographers and cultural admirer.
